But are you at an advantage over someone else with zephyr? Could a ranger or hunter do 1500 damage over the course of zephyr? Could a skald?

I've been both specs along the way (originally 50/30/30, changed to 50/43, then back again). It just depends on what you want to do. And yes, choice is nice :)

Get a buffbot or a friend with a bb, and get yourself some nice toa gear and as a mincer you can pwn big time. Mincer with zephyr, instas, ablative chant etc is kinda powerful, and u can have SOM and cyclopse shield for stealth loreing stealthers etc..

Mincer is far more fun being a solo class compared to some boring speed whore for some noob group anyway :)

Minstrel doesn't need high damage output really - they have enough tools to negate other people's damage (zephyr, stun, ablative, mez, etc.) to still be effective.

I'm not saying minstrel's damage output is bad - it isn't, and they make good fun soloers. But they aren't a wtfpwn class with an "I Win" button, even with all the above.

well guys i think enaugh have been said i have seen mincers and mincers imho mincers can kill preety much everything and if in trouble thay can always use SOS, i do agree mincers r great for duo (stelt duo) had grea fun with mooomin and on solo mincers r uber if speced high in slash with dds and stun they can outmach preety higher rrs speeking about 1v1
so guys go get them and play your drums and flutes!!!!

At RR11 every class who can spec melee and has the points for it has dmg-output. He also has the necessary RA's (or tools) to keep him alive long enough.

Even Alpha doesnt beat you without using RA's if you get the jump on him like he did on you in the movie. He will be in need of RA's then too.. Ofcourse if he has all his RA's up he might still beat you; thats how active RA's work. Go back; with his RA's down he might be alot easier :>

Maybe ;). But messages like "2 (3) pairs of mincer+inf inc mmg E" in /as not so rare too... So whats wrong with me, if i am get SB in my group, instead of mincer or inf?

Of equal RR? I'd like to see that fight, but I don't pretend to know who wins. If neither used actives, probably Alpha - but because he's gooood, not because of his class so much. If both used them, I wouldn't like to call it.

lol aye me and ceryseth had some fun, made some nice rps even tho it was only 2 of us, same as skald SM duos etc.

i agree with light a well played mincer with 4 shouts wep and FZ brings alot to a grp i never start the fihgt in melee range when in grp i just demezz backup CC then go for the baddies as my dmg wont turn the fight i look at myself as a support char at 1st then i interupt melee etc
