What a fucking smart day

Its been fantastic here, like an August evening. I ate a big bag of macademia nuts with cranberries, and went cycling with my chums, got all pulveratricious, and had a great time, followed by a drink, and now I'm back home all showered and clean with a cold drink and some chilled music on.

What did you do today?

I've been tileing my new bathroom, not as exciting as your day Tom, but i like how its coming on. Just waiting for the pizza to arrive, then its in front of the TV for the 3rd part of Red Dwarf

Had a gathering at my house that started about 11pm last night and finished about 5pm today. Now I am in need of a new liver.

I recovered from a night of boozing and getting called out at 1am to fix an Oracle problem, then had a long lie until about 11am, then went out to Port Edgar marina near Edinburgh for a walk and cup of tea with my missus. Got some photos, nothing special. Then saw my sister who is up to get married to had a beer in the sun with them.

Drove everywhere with the roof down. What a day.

Got up at 4pm, did some exercise, watched some TV, played some L4D, had a chinese. Win.

Today was just another working day for me.
My biggest problem was a 2.5 hour, 90 mile journey actually took 3.25hrs.

I swear every classic car owner, every Ferrari owner and EVERY SINGLE motorcyclist in the entire UK was driving on the country roads in North Wales today.
Classic car drivers drive at 40mph because they don't want to push the engine too hard.
Ferrari drivers drive at 40mph because they want to show off.
Motorcyclists ride at AARRGHH! mph because they have a death wish.

It was like the Isle of Man TT races, there were that many motorbikes overtaking. One time I was overtaken by 10 motorbikes in less than 1 minute and I was doing NSL (60mph).

I hate national holidays when I'm working. It just makes my job MUCH harder in travelling time.
