1) "trim" - lol. Moving past that choice term and on to the main point I was making, which you have missed, and is one I've made on these boards several times over the years. I don't think it's cool, big or funny for people to make (sometimes nasty) comments on how someone doesn't match up to their idea of what an attractive woman/man should be. Especially when they're often, not always, the type that have no interaction with women in real life. I know a few of these people in various places, and it makes me laugh. Do I think I'm better than them? Maybe, but that's beside the point.

2) If you don't think I'd be a cast on baywatch, then you clearly have not seen my hot bod. I'd be like that balding guy. Not great in the face department but sturdy as a fucking Giant Redwood and always shiny. Given your clarification, it seems I've not missed the point at all. No one has made any especially nasty comments about this girl, they've/we've just said we don't find her appealing. Someone said she wears too much make-up, it's not exactly crushingly offensive. The assumption that the people making these comments are nerds is stupid, and the suggestion that even if they were socially awkward losers they wouldn't be allowed to have an opinion on someone's physical attractiveness (or lack of) is also stupid. No one has said anything especially nasty so I think your comments are, again, pretty stupid.

Er no, I was saying it's rude, nasty and offensive to make such comments about people in that manner. Their status was not the main point of it, it was a part-point. You should stop trying to read implications and concentrate on what people actually say.
