Hahah yeah 2nd one most definitely applys after playing DoW, just the fact it just stomps over everything in its path.

EDIT: Just found this one as well, did make me chuckle.

Oh dear, geek alert (from me):

Technically on the first one, the Emperor can't take all the credit, it was Sangunius who opened the chink in Horus's armour to allow the fatal blow delivered by the Emperor. Surely in some sad 40k fantasy league he'd get points for the assist?? ;)

Shame, still some good ones out there, due to all the irl crap I only get to paper roleplay a couple of times a year when me and my old roleplaying crew get together for a weekend, though ofc we end up shitfaced and abandoning it late in the night. The 40k paper roleplay game is back ina form:

Fantasy Flight Games: Dark Heresy - Warhammer 40,000 Roleplay

Had a look and it seems quite good as a system at least.

getting the baneblade is insta win :)

Real shame you could never pull two out. Using IG were my favourite, their front-line (equipped with lazers) was okayish, but it's the tanks that really do it for that team. Ranged shots were a great way to win on certain maps :D

I LOATHED Orks... WE'RE ALL GONNA DIEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Orks were very annoying, just massively zergy (much like IG but without the awesome tanks)

Im hoping in DoW2 they'd introduce Nid's. Although the sheer numbers would probably be mind-numbing if they pull it off properly.!!
