Ever since the WFA servers got upgraded I (and many other players) have been having all sorts of problems with them. On the rare occassions when I actually manage to connect to the server (and yes, I have cl_allowdownloads set to 1), I last about 10 seconds before getting booted back to the main menu screen. During the warm-up period the server runs two different countdowns, at the end of the first one half the people on the server get booted off. If by some freak accident you manage to survive this tidal wave of shit, you often get booted off mid-game for no reason whatsoever. I repeat - this has only been a problem since the upgrade to WFA2. I can play on the Dallas server, 5000 miles away (250 ping ain't nice tho) with absolutely no problems at all, but have horrendous problems connecting to a server 100 miles up the road. I can't help feeling that all this could be sorted by a simple reinstallation of the two WFA servers.
