Advice Western Digital Red

What's the deal with these hard disks? they are marketed as NAS drives in 1, 2, 3 TB capacities and seem to be an amalgamation of the WD green line (energy saving) with features & some of the reliability of the RE-4 line (enterprise drives)...?

is there anything making them unsuitable for use in a gaming PC as mass storage? (already have 60gb Corsair Force GS SSD & 2TB barracuda....)
