Rules

The rules are slightly altered from the previous game. The game setup is now semi-random, and can consist of any of the following mixes of roles

2 Werewolves, 1 Seer, 1 Doctor/Herbalist, 1 Vigilante, 5 Villagers
2 Werewolves, 1 Doctor/Herbalist, 1 Vigilante, 6 Villagers
2 Werewolves, 1 Seer, 1 Vigilante, 6 Villagers
2 Werewolves, 1 Vigilante, 7 Villagers

Villagers : the basic good guys, with no special powers
Seer : good guys, with the power to determine one players alignment each night
Doctor : good guys, with the power to protect one player from harm each night
Vigilante : good guys, with a limited number of kills at night
Werewolves : bad guys, they confer each night and decide on one player to eat

Last night, your town mayor, Will, was brutally murdered by werewolves. You know that there are two or three werewolves amongst you, but you have no idea who they are. There is only one way to kill a werewolf around here, a good old-fashioned lynching. However, this is a democracy, so its time to vote. Whoever has the most votes gets lynched. You may discuss this as much as you like.

When you vote, please end your post with vote : lynchee or whoever you want to lynch. If you change your mind, end you post with unvote : lynchee then your new vote on another line. If you don't want there to be a lynching, end your post with vote : no lynch. Please put this in bold to make the mods life easier.

Once you have all voted*, lynching will happen at twilight, and then night will begin. At this point, the thread will close, and night actions will happen (the werewolves may strike again, the seer will investigate one player, etc). Once this is done, it will be dawn, I will reveal the events, and the thread will open again for another lynching.

*a deadline may also be set by the mod if the turn is dragging, or if the result has an overpowering majority.

The werewolves will win if they equal the villagers in numbers. The villagers will win if they kill all the werewolves.

Any postings by non-players will be deleted

So, our beloved mayor is dead? I do feel a little apprehensive about randomly choosing someone to be burnt at the stake for it though. Burning is a tad... permanent... and if I get it wrong I might feel some fleeting regret. Nothing chocolate couldn't cure, I'm sure, but still.

That said, if someone starts the ball rolling I might change my mind, but as it stands I'm happy to carry on eating anchovies and garlic and cabbage and washing my hair in slugs, whatever it takes to become less appetising.

The way i see it is the furries can have no game plan on day 1 as they don't get to chat until night 1? Is that right? So any speculation on day 1 is gonig to be unfounded.

I don't actually think Mabs is a werewolf, I was just a bit annoyed at his attempt to have me set fire to. I do however find Calaen's attempt to set me on fire and deflect the blame onto Mabs very suspicious. The clever wolfies would jump on a bandwagon, rather than create one.
