The Fallen

Gunner440 - Eaten night 1 - Vigilante
Fweddy - Lynched day 2 - Villager (found rifle)
rynnor - Eaten night 2 - Villager
Sir Frizz - Lynched day 3 - Werewolf
ECA - Eaten night 3 - Villager (wanted for crimes against bold)
Jimmy - Lynched day 4 - Werewolf

Rules

The rules are slightly altered from the previous game. The game setup is now semi-random, and can consist of any of the following mixes of roles

2 Werewolves, 1 Seer, 1 Doctor/Herbalist, 1 Vigilante, 4 Villagers
2 Werewolves, 1 Doctor/Herbalist, 1 Vigilante, 5 Villagers
2 Werewolves, 1 Seer, 1 Vigilante, 5 Villagers
2 Werewolves, 1 Vigilante, 6 Villagers

Villagers : the basic good guys, with no special powers
Seer : good guys, with the power to determine one players alignment each night
Doctor : good guys, with the power to protect one player from harm each night
Vigilante : good guys, with a limited number of kills at night
Werewolves : bad guys, they confer each night and decide on one player to eat

Last night, your town mayor, Will, was brutally murdered by werewolves. You know that there are two or three werewolves amongst you, but you have no idea who they are. There is only one way to kill a werewolf around here, a good old-fashioned lynching. However, this is a democracy, so its time to vote. Whoever has the most votes gets lynched. You may discuss this as much as you like.

When you vote, please end your post with vote : lynchee or whoever you want to lynch. If you change your mind, end you post with unvote : lynchee then your new vote on another line. If you don't want there to be a lynching, end your post with vote : no lynch. Please put this in bold to make the mods life easier.

Once you have all voted*, lynching will happen at twilight, and then night will begin. At this point, the thread will close, and night actions will happen (the werewolves may strike again, the seer will investigate one player, etc). Once this is done, it will be dawn, I will reveal the events, and the thread will open again for another lynching.

*a deadline may also be set by the mod if the turn is dragging, or if the result has an overpowering majority.

The werewolves will win if they equal the villagers in numbers. The villagers will win if they kill all the werewolves.

Any postings by non-players will be deleted

Hmm - it could be any of us at this stage (obviously not me :p )

We need a random way of picking a poor soul to lynch?

Chances are they'll be innocent but we have to start somewhere?

i think it's too early to be lynching people, especially if there is a vigilante amongst us.

getting hungry rynnor? :p

fair point. our downfall in the last game was the fact we rushed to lynch people, i think we ought to see how things pan out and discover whether we have a doctor in our midsts and what the seer has to say.

Well, it's setting me or mank up for an eating, but I think it's the right thing and if we have a seer or doctor or charles bronson in our midst, then we have to give them a chance to save as many of us as possible.

vote: no lynch

mank: damn you for making me vote first. If I get eaten before you, I am going to haunt you. And not in a scary way, in an irritating way.

2 votes for no lynch, 2 for rynnor, 1 for tab.

So a split vote. But okay, if you guys really want to lynch and hope that we don't kill off the seer, or the doctor, a vigilante or a plain old villager. Go for it.

maybe getting the vigilante might be a good thing bad enough with 2 wolves killing one of us each night let alone a vigilante possable killing one os us as well.

but if no lynch today is what we need then okies

unvote rynnor
vote no lynch

I read somewhere last week that Fweddy's judgement is often misplaced and he trusts people when he shouldn't...

A liability whatever his role, so vote: Fweddy

Not voting is dumb as fk because it gives you less information on voting patterns later in the game and gives the wolves a free kill with 0 info.

gg morans ( or smurt wulps ).

It also makes the game longer, and gives the seer and possibly doc/bronson more chance to influence the game to our benefit. The only people who would not see it like that are the ones that stand to benefit from lynchings -the wolves.

Yes having less information and giving the wolves a better starting advantage MAKES SO MUCH SENSE.

unvote rynnor
vote ch3tan

Hmm, not sure about that, I'm more inclined to agree with ECA - the no voters give nothing except letting the wolves take a free pick. If we don't have a lynching today, how is it going to help us make a more informed choice tomorrow: it isn't.

as such

unvote: Fweddy - I don't think he's dangerous just misguided.

vote: Ch3tan

heh - beaten by ECA!

Now, non voting is a totally different thing all together. I did vote, to not lynch.

And as for voting patterns, lots are apparent already.

Where I stated "no voters" in my above post I specifically mean people who have posted here and chosen no lynch. I understand that this wasn't clear and hope that clarifies it.
