Nope, 12hrs it will be. the game days and nights will roll forward and backward in time depending on how fast the players get their arses in gear and perform actions. Also, I'm feeling evil

It actually worked okay, but we only really had 7pm to 1am as real game time. 1am -6am was lost time.

Think it will cause problems on later days, as people will fail to get on.

well, that was my fault for not starting earlier for which I am a bit sorry. I had a surprising busy spree at workies, such is life :/

so, what you are saying is that "day/night" periods sould only be valid between...say 12 noon and 12 midnight?

My original idea was, that if you guys would get your acts together, it could/would be possible to fit two or more D/N periods into an actual day, keeping things running nicely. I anticipated that certain players would do their best to stall as long as possible, either intentionally or not, which is why there are penalties/bonuses on both good and evil sides.

as is, with gametime being fluid like it is now, it's potentially the case that a day or night could begin at an inopportune time, like 3am or so. well, that's tough cookie. I said this was going to be a time limited "extreme" game, and it will be so even if it's the first and takes some adjusting hehe.

If I have to get up at 3am to open a day phase I will. You have 12 hours tops to complete actions or (usually) bad things happen in the game. The only day you have free is Sunday. All I can say is good luck and enjoy yourselves

I like it, but i'm used to online games that require you to check it before work, after work and yes, at 3am.

Extreme title is given too easily these days and making things "considerate and nice" is not the way to go

I'm going to vote Thorwyn because if we don't reach a consensus we're going to have an inactive remaining in the game anyway and we'll be in a worse spot.

Does the 12 hour clock start when you re-open the thread or does the clock not stop at all, ie synched up from the very start of the game?

the clock restarts every time I lock or unlock the thread. the deadline is merely a mechanism to force the players to act.

I'm going to vote Thorwyn because if we don't reach a consensus we're going to have an inactive remaining in the game anyway and we'll be in a worse spot.

I suggest you do as you must tbh.

Actually I think you should NOT have revealed his role. Extra incentive to reach a decision on a lynch target. If we don't reach a consensus, the least active player is modkilled, but we get no info on their role.

Makes it much more EXTREME!
