Game 4

Players - 2 survivors

inactionman - Villager
ECA - Vigilante

The Fallen

MYstIC_G : Seer, Shot night 1
Calaen : Villager, Violated night 1
gunner440 : Doctor, Eaten night 1
Jupitus : Villager, Lynched day 2
Mabs : Werewolf Roleblocker, Violated night 2
Jimmy : Serial Killer, Eaten night 2
Stimpy : Werewolf, Lynched day 3

Rules

The main roles for these games include :

Villagers : the basic good guys, with no special powers
Seer : good guys, with the power to determine one players alignment each night
Doctor : good guys, with the power to protect one player from harm each night
Vigilante : good guys, with a limited number of kills at night
Werewolves : bad guys, they confer each night and decide on one player to eat
Serial Killer : bad guys, lone killers who murder a person every evening

There may be more than one gang of wolves, and there may be other roles, or subtle alterations to the roles. Not all of the above roles may be included.

Last night, your town mayor, Will, was brutally murdered by werewolves. You know that there are werewolves amongst you, but you have no idea who they are. There is only one way to kill a werewolf around here, a good old-fashioned lynching. However, this is a democracy, so its time to vote. Whoever has the most votes gets lynched. You may discuss this as much as you like.

When you vote, please end your post with vote : lynchee or whoever you want to lynch. If you change your mind, end you post with unvote : lynchee then your new vote on another line. If you don't want there to be a lynching, end your post with vote : no lynch. Please put this in bold to make the mods life easier.

Once you have all voted*, lynching will happen at twilight, and then night will begin. At this point, the thread will close, and night actions will happen (the werewolves may strike again, the seer will investigate one player, etc). Once this is done, it will be dawn, I will reveal the events, and the thread will open again for another lynching.

*a deadline may also be set by the mod if the turn is dragging, or if the result has an overpowering majority.

The werewolves will win if they equal the villagers in numbers, and are the only remaining werewolf pack. The villagers will win if they kill all the werewolves.

Any postings by non-players will be deleted

Right, hunches and stuff seem to be rubbish early on, and voting no lynch sucks, so I used a RNG to generate a random number from 1-9 and apply it to the list, it decided Calaen was the guilty wolf at #6.

I suggest this method may be more useful than giving in to flights of fancy as we have in similar situations in the past.

I know I have only recently moved into the village but I propose a meeting of everyone tonight at 11:00pm outside the local post office, anyone that shows up dressed in a large coat with their hood up and is walking on all fours is obviously a werewolf, we then chop us up some meat which can be sold on to our local butcher Jimmy for a reasonable price.

Would that meat be special stimpy? Hmmm...

Yes it would be werewolf meat, thats my plan to kill the werewolfs before any of us are slaughtered, not to quick on the uptake are you, to many late nights? Hmmm interesting...

Why is jup making up crap to get me lynched? Why is Gunner siding with him in such strong language after being so passive last game.

unvote: Calaen
Vote: Gunner440

The last thing we need is more bandwagon jumpers making the voting patterns seem murky.

I think I'll avoid your plan stimpy, we don't want to become nosebleed central on top of our werewolf problem. Although you seem a bit interested in pseudo-human meat!

There is nothing wrong with trying to make a little cash out of this whole sorry mess, it's what our corrupt dead mayor would have wanted.

Good evening fellow villagers, I wont bother talking to the foul beasts that stalk the night.... We must use our superior human mindset to clean up the streets.

I will wait until we have a bit more banter until I consider voting for lynch, although I usually vote no lynch first just to see how peoples patterns change after a death or two.

Wouldn't a live werewolf be worth more to a zoo, or some rich billionaire who wants to hunt it or something?

If we're after cash maybe we should build a scooby-doo style trap and take one alive?

I went to the village library and read the best seller by Damini entitled "How to lose your husband, kill an innocent and shoot yourself in the head in 3 easy steps".

Having finished reading it's clear that doing anything too quickly will only lead to an inevitable self inflicted doom, ergo:

Vote: No Lynch

ECA we're in a village where burning is the norm and you're using a Random Number Generator? Bit suspicious? :p

Why's that? Because if we lynch someone then we help you thin the numbers?

What's the time Mr Wolf?

Well look how well we've done voting on suspicions so far ;p Its been a bit of a bugger up to say the least.

I'm going back to my RNG and

unvote: gunner440
vote: Calaen

Not voting prolongs it and gives you less votes to analyse as the wolves love the no lynch option.

Meh, I guess I see your point.

I'll need to give it some more thought before I decide whether to change my mind or not though.

So noone turned up for my meeting at the post office at 11:00pm which makes me suspicious of all of you now, I'm going home and locking the doors and windows and crying myself to sleep, I hope to still be alive in the morning and maybe things will be clearer then.

Randomly picking a person to lynch just plays into the night stalkers hands, the wolfs can just stay quite on day one and let us kill each other. Then they get another free kill during the night. I will gladly change my vote if it means getting a draw/no lynch majority. Until then...

I am gonna have to vote for you ECA, merely to increase my own chances of not being burnt.

vote ECA Sorry :(

Randomly picking someone gives us a decent chance in a small game actually, wheras dumb suspicion from posts in thread are 90% innocent people vs around 55% if we have two wolves and pick at random.

You may well be a wolf trying to kill an extra innocent, if you were really innocent you'd vote no lynch rather than jump on the dumb bandwagon as it has the same number of votes.

Does this random bandwagon jumping on jups vote not strike people as incredibly suspicious?

Especially given how quiet gunner was last time this happened when he was a villager.

Is this continual repeat posting an attempt to divert attention and cover something up ECA?
