After enough players sign up, each player will get an PM. The PM will state that player's role. There are three roles in this game:
a) Villager. These are the plain good fellows.
b) Werewolves. These are the bad guys. They can communicate to each other at night via PM, and every night they pick one guy to kill off the game (they email that choice to the moderator, me).
c) Seers. These are good guys, that can choose one guy each night. They PM me that guy's name, and I PM them his role in the game.
The werewolves know each other and work together. The good guys don't know any role but their own. Every day, the players decide who they should lynch, suspecting they are a werewolf. After the majority of the people (note, werewolves get to vote as well during daytime, because nobody knows who they are) decide on someone, he is killed.
Whenever someone dies, their role is revealed. When all the werewolves die, the villagers and seers win. When the werewolves outnumber the good guys, the werewolves win.
Clarifications:
Day and night refer to gametime. A "day" can take a couple of days, as can a night. Only the werewolves may converse by PM, the rest have to post what they have to say in this thread. The votes are also posted, and not PMed to me.
Unlike the movie title, dead men don't walk, or talk. Once you die, you may not post again to the thread. That means that if you're a seer and you know who the werewolves are, then you die at night, too bad. You can't share the information you got. If you were a villager and you have suspicions of someone, then you die, again, you can't talk.
I'm up for another, though please bump me off if someone who hasn't had a go yet wants in![]()
I meant you wanted to have sex with villagers in werewolf costumes.
If I get eaten, I'll come back as an e-coli outbreak.
