I usually use http://www.wincustomize.com but they have no new stuff i like.

Any ideas ?

http://www.studiotwentyeight.com is my current source - they have a set of lovely bobbly ones - looks like artists paper.

For more full on designs I tend to drift back to Deviant.

Were do i change the colour of the text on my desktop icons ?

I don't think there is a way of doing it manually in XP... Or, at least, I haven't found it. Never say never, you know

Having a look around, a couple of apps popped up, such as this one.

You can still change the size and font of your icons manually, in XP.

1. Right click anywhere on your desktop.
2. Select 'Properties'
3. Choose the 'Appearance' tab.
4. Click on 'Advanced'
5. In the dropdown box labeled 'Item:', select 'Icon'
6. Fiddle away - You can change the font, size, and formatting of the icon text, as well as the size of the icon itself.
