Logged in this morning, hibs had no port anywhere, not even to Ailline or Scat, so I soloed those 2 towers on my champ, then did /who, was 4 hibs online 2 of them were me and my bb.

Tried to solo a bit, but always faced at least a duo of albs. For some reason they kept taking Crau and Ailine towers, so I just logged off after a while.

P.S TBH Muyl it not like Albs were not aware of current situation with Dyvet but they gone well out of way to put final nail in it's coffin.Situation on Hib lately was when I logged in and found myself only 1 online with Albs taken all ports out.

Well, the english cluster is extremly low pop and heading downwards. So the question is what could be done about it? I was thinking about the solution people involved with Freeshard versions of the game thought up. Instead of using the whole oversiezed frontier (for small pop servers) they choose to use either of the different battlegrounds instead. And that would probably be better. Fighting in a Thidranki setting rocks when there are only about 100-200 players compared to trying to roam the huge areas of the standard frontier...

As a response to Muy. Its a good thought, and with some luck it helps atleast after a while the Hibs will get back out. But with so few rps around Albs are bound to try to get what ever rps they can get, and that unfortunatly atm is to defend the keeps.

The effects of last years actions (combined with other factors ofc) from the English GoA team seems to be irreversiable at this point. I know its not a popular comment here, but if you still enjoy the game and see no future for the english cluster, rather than quit playing the game, give the german servers a try. They are very much alive (3000 players prime time, 500-1000 off time), its easy to get started, germans are extremly friendly and helpful, the language barrier is easy to get around, and the rvr is separated, so that you wount risk getting whined at for doing something that isnt according to someone elses version of rvr. In short it is what DaoC New Frontiers was always meant to be...

It needs a lot more then that to restore "some" action again.

1) Albion needs to foad with the CM/For The Realm attitude.

2) You need to have Irvr and only in Albion.

3) People need to stop cutting ports, taking keeps or AC'ing keeps.

4) Relics should go back in order.

We all know Albs are far to thick to even see this happen. So sorry Muyl, no go. All in all it might be (prolly is) far too l8 now todo anything about it. Having Nott's as Irvr in Midgard kinda killed the action for Hibs (over 1 week ago) and loads logged off. Taking the relics from Mids kinda killed off Midgard (as usual). You guys never learn...

Imho if your an alb take the relics from Hibs aswell and go back to PvE.

Anyways could dig up some old thread about the SotG from you reporting players for setting a certain keep to lvl 1. Now you ask a certain guild to release a keep so that Hibs can take it ^^.

People have mentioned it all to often and @ ~ december 2006 you see a big decline in the server population, yet Albs didnt care. Same goes for a week ago till now. Let's blame the l33t players and stuff, really.

Anyways I dont see the point in claiming Nged anyway, nor in taking it. Yet still albs will be there 4tehrealm trying to defend it. So why try to take it with the 4 hibs thats left?

So Muyl, have you finally come to realize that you were wrong when you whined at us for lowering the lvl of the relic keep? Cause you do realize, if you, and people with you, hadn't whined so heavily at Requiel, there wouldn't of been any bans, and we'd kept playing, along with loads of people who rerolled around this same event (there's a long list in the "TT incident" thread of people who decided to leave, directly due to that event). Ofc, the server would still of died in the end (ty GoA), but it would of lived a longer life with a healthier population.

Anyhow, I think it's a good idea (obviously), to do what you are doing, but I do hope you see the irony in this, and that you have learned something from it.

Irvr has to be in alb or nowhere. Relics have to be reset. Ports have to be left alone.

If this can happen fairly swiftly, things may begin to recover or at least maintain themselves. If the rest of this weeks action is anything like it was last night, it will be the end of dyvet.

The only way this can happen is if the main guilds on alb understand that they are very responsable for the server. Gone are the days when cutting a port or taking a keep would be countered by the enemy within a few hours.

One may say a keep is worth less than a relic, but, and I can quote you on this, loads of loads of times, I'm sure, "we'll simply retake the relic tomorrow night while you're asleep, so FO hahahahaha"....... When it's that easy, then there is no distinction in the value.

hib population where even struggling 2 get a normal grp runnin since peeps lost all morale with the irvr situation , AC raids 24/7 you name it , tried 2 persuade peeps 2 stay and try keep going but it didnt work
