the only game i can possibly think of that still has somewhat of a population is planetside.

sure its not a proper MMO in the sense of the word. its a MMOFPS, but theres 0 quests in that game.

basically you level up purely by doing pvp. assaulting bases, defending bases and all that stuff. have tanks, combat aircraft, troop transports etc etc etc.

you just open the planetary map, find out what continent has action and take either a teleporter or dropship there, and after that its just pew pew pew. tho there are friendly fire in that game so watch who your shooting at or ur gonna end up dead a whole lot

You either played a healer or were particularly shit at the game Knowing what to fight and when is key at any PvP game. Suggest you try WAR again and roll a DoK or WP. They don't loose to many.

no idea, last time i played it they had just merged the 2 remaining US servers into 1 so it was fairly populated, the european server slightly less so. but as u can play on whatever server u like i didnt find that an issue.

Depends, as said, it's no "give nau!" game that the pampered insta-gratification and casual crap people are used to, but it's good if you like to challenge yourself a bit more in the MMO genre.

It's different, slower, and only viable sci-fi MMO out there.
