Today I put a deposit on 1996 Harley Davidson Dyna Glide. I've got to wait 2 weeks before I collect it, which is desparately bad news.

I'm so excited I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve! :D

The upside is you have two weeks to be all excited Christmas style. Enjoy when it arrives.

And don't forget these:

Where's the roof to keep the rain off you when it's shitting it down in slate-grey blighty?

I traded the Bandit in for it.

This bike is something else. I cant really describe it. It's a different concept. It actually handles ok, and goes ok, within reason. I blasted it down the dual carriageway at 100mph and it was solid and not stressed at all, though of course I was with them handlebars :)

It sounds like a fucking steam train in your house, awesome. It has Vance and Hines exhausts and a chip up for the ecu so it runs good. It is 1450 cc fuel injected V-Twin.

Its remarkably comfortable. Its done 7500 miles by the first owner.

I'm going to ride it a lot :)

nice one man! you thinking of doing any mods to it? a lot of the HD riders around here seem to like the S&S kit when I walk about the HD day that gets organized here yearly.

I'm sure I will, though I have no idea what! The seat bar and exhausts are all added, seat and bar (and rear footpegs!) by me :D

You need an appropriately manky leather jacket and grease ran through your hair.

Awesome bike though.

Clearly a typo and you meant to put under in front of 100mph as that would be an automatic ban... or something.

Love the bike btw.
