Technically it isn't a crow bar but just an agreement that is need between two parties that don't really see eye to eye no matter what face they choose to put on when the cameras are rolling.

I think the biggest losers from this hung parliament will in fact be the Lib Dems.

I dont think they will get proportional representation (thank god) and whatever they do will alienate a big chunk of their voters plus the dream of them being a real alternative looks pretty dead.

I think it will be another generation before they get decent numbers of MPs back.

If they get PR and lost 50% of their voters - they'd get more MP's than they have now.

It is generally agreed that all parties have been losers with Labour losing a bucket load of seats and generally creating a feel bad factor, to Lib dems looking good on TV but gaining nothing, then the Tories who still couldn't take an outright majority in what they claimed was broken Britain.

It'll be interesting to see what Lib Dems do but I can't see them being that comfortable either way.
