Anyway, the funny thing i noticed about this kind of thing, is the human nature to blame yourself. I know i know, don't, it's pointless, not my fault, but when this kind of thing happens, you start thinking of the things you could've done to avoid it. "why did i do that..why did i walk there...why didn't i..." etc.

Funny where it comes from.

i dont know, but its probably to avoid a situation like that next time. some people just take it too far and get traumatized for life (ofc depending on the situation they have encountered)

I also recall you saying something like this on someones elses thread. You told us how you never get in these situations and even when you do you can usually avoid it without confrontation.

Simple fact of the matter is that unfortunately for us normal folk there is always someone out there that regardless of how you act/where you walk, they will try and take advantage of us by means of violence.

I've never GOTTEN into the situations and have avoided confrontation. Never said it couldn't happen. I'm not that silly. A bit of a difference, but yes, there's always people out there to do bad things.

What i've noticed, that people are selfish etc, and i've been coming more and more pissed off at it lately. This was almost what rambo said "when pushed enough, killings as easy as breathing", in regards of getting tired of things people do.

i dont know, but its probably to avoid a situation like that next time. some people just take it too far and get traumatized for life (ofc depending on the situation they have encountered)

More i'm gonna take it as such, a warning, a lesson and a general "time to take a break" from nightlife.

Hah! figure me comming to Toht's defence, :p
But that thread was a different matter, it was about Conz and how he got jumped by two guys who asked him for a cig and something about saying they could go buy some if they needed it that badly ect bla bla and cornZ taking the orig agressors cash ?
toht got attacked from behind without ever exchanging one word with the muggers, infact didnt even get to see them ?
not that i think cornz not talking to the guy would have made much diff in the end, and wont get into the taking his cash bit since thats an old discussion we've already had.!
Wich is also why as i stated origionally on the gun issue that it wouldnt have changed anything, exept either him being shot by his own gun, his gun being stolen, or if it was visible him being mugged for just that "his gun" :p

While 5 years ago if someone tried to mug me i always though i would take my chances. Know i think i would turn my phone off and give it to them. Phones are insured but proving to Vodafone the calls to Iraq were not me could be a problem. Its not worth it now my phone is not worth my life and as most of these little druggies that go around robbing people carry weapons and do not seem to value human life whats the point

I do believe i've solved it watson!

helped an older person get up after a fall
while you were doing this the "Old person" had a quick peek inside your pockets to ascertain what goods you had about your personage and slipped, this "Old" person then signalled their accomplice to tail you, and so as not to arouse suspicion they probably employed a disguise...i'd go so far as to say it was possibly a pigeon!

Next:

held open doors, did nice things,
While you were busy holding doors open the accomplice snuck up behind you and planted a small tracking device inside your coat pocket, then braizenly walked past you, through the door you were so "Politely" holding open for you, they probably went so far as to say "Thank you"

Then:

cleaned up at apartment etc etc,

While you were cleaning your apartment the tracking device told the muggers that your jacket was immobile and this lead them to your place of habitation where they followed you when you left for your evening out and loitered with intent to mug outside the bar you were frequenting, you may or may not have noticed a pigeon acting suspiciously at the bar...it may or may not have been wearing a small rolled up towel about its neck so as to perfect the disguise!

and then:

and then get mugged.

The mugging took place, I would say your assailents were of medium height whilst being noticably tall and a bit on the short side, with lightly tanned dark skin and possibly being albino in appearance.

*bow*

no need to thank me good citizen, I'm just doing my job!

Have to remember to look out for that EQ. And thanks for the soz peeps, words mean still, even if words.

Anyways, on an update sorta note, went to doctor, tomorrow to x-ray, ankle is busted but not broken, this week off from work and 800mg medicine for the pain.

Noticed another "weird thing with brain", as the memories are a bit hazy and i can't say "exactly for sure", that i got this nagging feeling that this reporting a crime etc will come back and bite me in the a**.

Like, what if it didn't happen like that, did i dream it? What if they don't find anything and suddenly turn the tables and start blaming me for some "wasting time" kinda thing. I know it's absolutely silly, but the mind just works that way.
