Eventhough I am of course very glad we got the relic I find it a bit sorry for Midgard as they been under siege for about each and every day during NF.
Basically what happends now is some group / BG takes a keep and all people looking for RvR in that realm are going to head to that keep but also all the people from the enemy realm are going to head there as they see theres some action there.
This will resolve into a 2v1 thing mostly unless the 2 realms attacking 1 realm will attack eachother (but I don't often see that happening).
Defending against 2 realms that are taking your keeps is near to impossible we(Albs) have noticed this when hibs took our Strenght relic and Mids know it from the day NF was released.

It's a shame though seeing such a realm like Midgard which in my eyes was famous for its defence seeing as in OF when you took 1 mid keep a few minutes later you would be crushed by a well oiled Midgard BG / group and they would take some keeps of you for just messing with their keep, now it seems they have just given up (also noticing some posts here) but as some say Midgard lacks leaders(?) but there are bound to be more leaders in Midgard than Blejs (who was the only midgard leader typ'ish person I know sorry if there were more around).

Hope Mids will re-organise back to their old self eventhough they have been pounded on the day NF was released and next time we will have a keep taking session we can do so in Hibernia seeing as they hardly lost any keeps yet and personally I was getting sick of the snow anyway ;)

i can t understand how ppl say hib is NOT underpopulated. Just join hib on prime time 175-200 online . The point is atm hib / pryd is 20 % pve 80 % rvr. 0 FINS PL GROUPS and ALWAYS GOV/SOM/EREMAI and the best artis are up, i REPEAT all the artis are up always in hib / pryd. the point is we are working together all in rvr, but we still are very few compared by the population in alb /mid

Well, it was bound to happen. It's just a bit annoying that shit like this happens at insane times like it did.

Some people actually have to a job, and need sleep. Midnight/01:00 is the very latest I can make it without being a complete zombie at work. >_<

Can't wait for 1.71 when enemy relics become pretty much undefendable. :/

hmm i know of at least a group of albs who were on that raid to the end and all had to be up after 3-4 hours sleep - and yes i did feel like shit ALL day long

Moderna is empty in Mid also. SoM, Eramai, Danos is always up aswell.

Maybe its just that most mids cba to stand at a keep for hours upon hours. I know I dont atleast.

A leader that would be successfull does not throw out insults, it is very contra-productive, it is not how you motivate people. This is true in business, military and also in a game like this one.

I do ;)

I find that, after a while, people learn to actually listen, to not afk, to go where needed and when you do things like that.

And when I say 'after a while' I really mean 'after I walk them through lava or pull a few epic mobs/relic keep guards onto them and they die'. Lesson learnt, listen next time :D

I think Mid just needs to catch itself on, and as others have said, realise that DAoC is not an 8 v 8 game, people need to work as part of a realm, as an army. If they want to run as 1fg, do it with the directions and locations given by an overall leader, someone who is both willing and able to lead. If NF, as us Hibbies have seen, floating groups can be VERY effective in a multiple keep/tower take scenario, with 2-3 main parties on keeps, and 2-3 groups floating around trouble spots. But they have to know where to be, and others need to know where they are if needed.

Recently I've seen Albs catch on to this, so they seem to be getting more organised, after the embarrassment we caused them with the first RR. Some very good organisation has taken place in Alb since then.

Just hope Mid can do the same. Both Alb and Mid have the potential to field nearly twice the RvR numbers than Hib can. I think someone in another thread said there were 200 lvl 50 Mids online last night, well you'd be lucky to break 200 Hibs online, lvl 1-50 nowadays. Only thing is, we usually have 100+ in the frontiers, so a large portion of our population are in RvR, even though we have a smaller overall population. Once Albs and Mids get fully organised, I can see Hib having to rely ALOT on our defensive tactics to keep what we have gained.
