Nicely executed raid, well done all!

/salute

Unfortunately loads of us were deep in Hibernia taking their keeps with an eye on another relic raid on them, we didn't hear you were at Excalibur until the second door was down.

Then there was a funny sight of 50 Albs sitting down waiting for one bluecon guardian to kill them, so they could release back to defend. Everyone spamming "He's mine!! Let him kill me!!".

What happened when our own strength relic went neutral?

People had been assigned to watch the last relic in Excalibur, were they afk or something?! :p

Tura I am going to say something now that will upset alot of people. 40 minutes before the raid that took the relic I reported 2fg of mids hiding trees northeast of excal. Soon after I ran upto Sursbrooke zone wall and reported another 2fg zoning into pennines and headed past Bold. This was reported on EC alliance chat, guild chat and passed onto members of the other alliances. Albion had 40 minutes warning, hell they had 20 minutes from when the shout went out of Mids in pennines but it was largely ignored. It seems whenever I pass along vital information people think I am bullshitting, well tonight was the cherry on the cake. The Mids used fine tactics tonight, we were outfought and outclassed. If we had listened to the early warnings they wouldn't have touched that door, as it stands we got a good old arse kicking and deservedly so.

Sorry to hear that Chodax -- I certainly didn't hear any such message, nothing was said on the Unity Alliance chat about that. Though I had only been logged on for about 20 minutes by the time we heard that these naughty Mids were at Excalibur, so its possible something was said earlier but it was let slip.

What we really need is someone to take charge when news like that comes in and call up the troops. I for one would put my name down on a response team for early warnings like that.

Not that the Middies would exactly fear a Paladin charging them but you have to try :)

I just remember 10 days ago when this forum was spammed by a constant lamento on the number of alliances and impossibility of interalliance communication...

1. Smaller alliances can much better mobilize its ppl and better "value" their contribution.

2. Alliance chat channels can be significantly employed to secure a steady information flow with alliance grps and assure coordination enabling information distribution to all participants without spamming /leader cg

3. Leader cg can be employed efficiently to lead and take decisions and not for individual grp coordinations or secondary issue discussion

4. More alliances gives more ppl the chance of actively participating in a raid enabling natural task forces and new leaders are always welcome to proving their capabilities

and now:

5. Quick and joint success is all what was needed to prove MIDGARD IS BACK !!!

well doen everyone and well done in proving the alliances are working together strongly and swiftly... btw how many relics are we still missing now? ;)

Yesterday i was more proud than ever being guilded with Shabish.
Shabish led NE without any problems everyone listening and obeying his calls, he have done a good job for Midgard these last couple of weeks, responding to attackers in our frontiers, motivating people to come help and defend.
And now he have in my eyes led the relic attack as well, ofcourse backed up by Azal who started the attack and Azal as well have done great these last weeks, leading 3-4 legion raid within 4 days, and 2 (again in my eyes) succesful relic raids.
And ofcourse thanks to all the brave vikings for being there time after time and finally tasting the sweat taste of relics

Good work Midgard, keep up the good work

ps: atm what they can whine about this time :D

Blej started the Relic Raid with the Core Force of the Legion Raid, but during the actual raid it was more like a Warcouncil ... multiple people offering suggestion what to do how, but agreed swiftly on the best choice without much discussion. Just think of how the ram teams got sorted ;)
That was real cooperation :)

As Someone said in /gu last night W00tcakes!
After the 3 <Cough> Practice raids earlier in the day, someone shouted relic raid in 15 minutes, I was already in Emain at the AMG a team of United Warlords. Me and Skrald immediately scuttled off to get a ram each. We returned to the amg and Dimon put up a catapult. Think we slowed down the alb backup in Hibernia for a little while :)
Once of to albion. Excellent result, rams in place soon as, guards dealt with asap at top of hill. Then the wizzie pop spots camped. By the time albs showed up we owned Excalibur. Pity about them lazy gothi not porting everybody to alb for escort duty. Thought I'd got the wrong neckie for a minute but then I checked and nope it was the Gothi's fault.
Good Result, Good Laugh and Excellent Morale.
I look forward to next time now :)
     :m00:

P.S. Anyone I was with later could you inform me of what we got upto I was so happy I got a drunk and fell asleep at the keyboard, when I woke up I was looking at my Desktop

I was not in the last raid but was in the first 3 :)

I think we wore the albs resistance and bank balances down with the first raids, each one getting slightly deeper into relic keep.

even though we did not get the Relic in the morning raids they were fun and everyone did what they were told when they were told..

The later morning raids were insane pops as the albs has 3+ keeps and loads of defenders yet still the Brave mids threw themselves onto the walls :)

Personal mantra: "Mythic named the game Dark age of CAMELOT, not JORDHEIM or TIR NA NOG. We damn well see what that means in gameterms."

That only gave Avalonians the biggest ego in the game. And you know what they say about Big Egos...

Small Blades :D

Well, what do people expect. The relic was only on loan anyway. And you naughty Albions should have just handed it back instead of making us send the Boys over to get em.

So next time you borrow something, don't just sit on it forever. Be good little kiddies and give it back when you're asked to.
