can say the same thing aboute alarm clock raids..

"not our fault they prioritised sleep"

and on the alarm clock raid there were prolly just as many alb 50s online as hib 50s, or close.

QQ :puke: QQ

You can cancel your ML raid when there are reports of Hibs RRing. I doubt you can somehow wake up people at 5am when there are reports of Albs RRing?

not saying that we should do that, and that you shouldnt raid at any time youd like.

just saying that raiding while most of the enemy forced are not around (tied up with something else) is just as lame as raiding when most of the enemy force is asleep (that is if its not a planed raid with allot of ppl)

The funny thing is that when ingame you can do a "looks a large purple con mob, I'll suicide and go defende my relic keep" ... thats goddamn hard to do at 6am while sleeping in your bed ... or is it just be that dosent do a /bind at my chain before I go to bed and leave daoc online with an alarm timer that goes in and wakes me up at 6am so I can do a suicide out of bed and /release computer ??

If you cared so much about the "LAME" factor of raiding WHILE someone is doing something else, could then please go to www.prydwen.net and tell us when YOUR raiding, and at the same time you can see when WE are raiding. In that case we'll never end up raiding each others RK's while half the realm is somewhere else.

and besides that welldone albs I never thought you would dare attack midgard, but you proved me wrong.

The automated door didn't stop you guys, then?
(There's a door in Myrrdin that keeps opening and closing all by itself)

I went to go rvr on my gimpy ranger Siobhian (yes that annoying prat), dragged another ranger friend (Norcott) along with me. We'd planned to go to mid to ping arrows at various groups, but I got chatting to Peat (cryn), and got roped into grouping with them.

Off we ported, 4-5groups, was under 50 in the BG, had some skirmishes on the way, including steamrolling 2fgs of mids who got a bit close to HPK/H, oh that was fun, 2 rangers rapid firing at anything that even looked remotely hostile at the 2 animists we had along on the raid (yes meights, 2 animists, not 2fg of animists, 2, repeat TWO). One poor bugger of a troll got 4 bombers and about 8 arrows in him when he tried to /stick on our ikkle level 44 bard (who has this incredible knack of trailing through every possible aggro mob in his way). On throught HMG/H, on out to the relic keep, getting horribly lost repeatedly, lagging, going back for those who lost stick (benny hill theme tune playing the whole time, bastard wimamp has a mind of its own), we get to RK and start setting up to pull.

Mids are sniffing around on our western flank, Norcott and I go lay down some suppressive fire whilst various casters lay down speed traps, power drains and other sundry nasty tricks, have to run away screaming as a bolt comes moshing at me. I decide, bravely, to skulk around and see if there was something cloth wearing and suitably squishy to stick pointy sticks into. I run into a lone mid hiding behind a rock, I summon my guildie Ranger, we crit shot him from either side, the mid falls over, didnt say much, but what can you expect from a troll hiding behind a rock thats not wider than he is. We go back, I amuse myself shooting at the relic guards, wondering what the difference is between Bowman and Scouts, we churn the doors down, grab the relic and then the str relic messages pop out, we laugh.

We run back, we get lost, we get more lost, we pull silly aggro, we yell at the bard, we run around some more, stumble over some more mids, dont know who was more surprised us or them, engage mids, win, run back to HPK, port, by the time we get to Ligen, the relic is safely home in the newly refurbished Dagda.

Good work Hibs, good work Albs, bad luck there Mids.

Heres hoping we can see this kind of shuffling of relics come NF, and it doesnt end up with "Albs 6, Mids 0, Hibs 0" as it appears to be happening (still) in the US.

Ps, To Fenric the pally I was having a laugh mucking about with out at crim, no way in hell was I going to win an unbuffed fight with a Pally, especially one who manages to block a crit shot from behind him when he's sitting. Salute, good fight, good night.
