You're probably wondering who we are and what this forum is doing here...
I'm Mike, and I'm the co-founder of indie games development outfit called "EiKON Games".
In a previous life I was known round these here parts as "MikeyBear" and was one of the original BarrysWorld team.

The game we're creating (Epoch: Incursion) is an open world, tactical first person shooter, with a heavily cooperative multiplayer slant.

Right now all our personal resources are pretty much being poured into the development of the game (we're currently completely unfunded) and so Deebs has very kindly volunteerd some forum space and web resources for our fledgling venture which is why we suddenly popped up here.

Difficult to say precisely at this stage given the way that we're having to build it (fitting it around jobs and young families etc.) but we'll have something playable for people in some regard later this year.

That's not a bad idea actually ...I (we) do blog occasionally at a couple of places (working on one right now in fact) but up til now I've struggled to make those consistent and regular ...I need to get on that, clearly
