Welcome to Counter-Strike @ GAME.net and Barrysworld. If you don't know what Counter-Strike is then you should check out the info page here http://play.game.net/games/cs/.
You will need a GAME.net subscription to play on our servers, but use of this forum is free.

To be able to join the servers you will also have to use GAMEbar or GAMElogon. Both are available for download here http://play.game.net/apps/.
We offer 6 top quality Counter-Strike servers each running on their own dedicated 1gig CPU. You can find them using the GAMEbrowser, or by entering the IP adresses into your own game launcher.
GAME.NET - Counter-Strike (1) - Pro Maps MR16 213.221.174.6:27015
GAME.NET - Counter-Strike (2) - FY maps only 213.221.174.6:27016
GAME.NET - Counter-Strike (3) - Classic Maps 213.221.174.7:27015
GAME.NET - Counter-Strike (4) - Daily Maps 213.221.174.7:27016
GAME.NET - Counter-Strike (5) - Full Rotation 213.221.174.41:27015
GAME.NET - Counter-Strike (6) - Full Rotation 213.221.174.41:27016
You will need a few extra maps that dont come with the game to fully enjoy the servers, all are available on the FTP. The maps you will need are likely to change as the servers can have their map cycles and settings changed within minutes by the game liaisons. At present you will need these files:
classic map pack
de_clan2_fire
And all the maps starting with "fy_" in this directory http://play.game.net/games/download...t/pub/games/halflife/mods/counterstrike/maps/
If new maps are used on the servers they will be made available on the ftp and you will be informed about them.
As well as the forums you can talk with and get help from the rest of the community at #game.cs on the Quakenet IRC network. You can also get help in the channel #barrysworld.
Look out for CS head liaison ZapPeh, and liaisons hotteh and myself Ch3tan.
