Weirdness

So I'm at work earlier and the missus texts me to say my computer is smoking and she's turned it off. I shoot home on my break and sure enough there's a smell of burning plastic but nothing to indicate where it was coming from and when I turned it back on there was nothing. I'm home from work now and the computer has been on for around half an hour and no smoke, no smell, nada.

I had that happen to me once. Turned out it was a wall socket, in the living room, behind the couch. Due to AC flow, the smell was being pushed into my room, fooling my nose into suspecting the PC.

Yeah I thought it might be that, or maybe the PSU but it can't be. She said the smoke was coming out of the front and since there's a wacking great fan at the back there's no way any smoke that end would come out of the front.

I did that before, took it on a ML8 raid, bout 200 odd people..

The computer blew up and set on fire. True story.
