It's like a "sillyapp.exe" on your personal brain tasklist really.

I've been thinking, that what if, while REALLY intoxicated. You know, memory gone, motor functions failing, speachcontrol shot to hell and back, you'd actually manage to kill someone, or rob someone, and then go home and not remember a thing about it. And THEN, months later, the police would show up at your doorstep to take you away for a very long time.

I've been thinking, is this possible, what would the damage be to you(sentence wise), could you even rob/kill someone in that state where you can't remember, would it be possible for you, in a very populated city center, do it and not get caught right away..etc etc.

Anyone else get these, weird thought things?

picture this scenario.

tohtori is sober (wtf?) and in his mind does not intend to kill anyone. he drinks a bottle of single malt and he becoms intoxicated. in his intoxictaed state he decides to murder laddey (woot). the result is he has murdered laddey and laddey is dead. his intoxication may give him a defence against murder. murder is something you can only intend to do, and being drunk MAY replace that intention.

tohtori is intoxicated again and decides to rob laddey, but he kills him by mistake as he did not intend to kill laddey. now hes committed manslaughter and being intoxicated will not defend him against that, because manslaughter is not something you can intend to commit.
