Weird Notepad?

if you have windows xp, open notepad and type

save it on your desktop and then open it, really weird but im sure there's more of these things

alot of text following the 4 3 3 5(amount of letters of each word) pattern will generate that. only a bug

It's a problem in the way Notepad checks if a file is ASCII, UTF8 or UTF16.

By the way, as far as simple text editors go, the standard microsoft Notepad is a tad limited. If interrested you might wanna take a look at the following:
Notepad++ (to download, select npp.[ver].installer.exe where [ver] is the version number, currently 3.9)
Vim based Cream (download)
Emacs (download)
