Weird Beard Texture!

Like many others i dloaded catas of the US server, but it seems there is a texture problem on the Britons beard, when u see 1 it blocks the entire screen, now i have read that you can reinstall and it fixes it. but i dont have the disks so anyone have an idea what file the briton beard is so i can delete it and redownload it thanks

I did the same, i DLed it from the american servers and also dont have disks.

I have screenshot here of the exact problem, as you can see its really annoying and its only gonna get worse the more people get it.

The exact hair style is hair 7 (briton) i believe, havent checked all the races but im pretty sure thats the culprit.

Its easy to check, customise one of your chars and click through the hair styles, problem exists in the char customisation screen also.

Can you guys who have same problem tell us if you DLed the client via american servers?

yep, i DL'd mine from US, when my disks arrive i plan on re-installing anyway.

I will check which skin it is when i log off again.

I downloaded mine from goa's patch server so hopefully won't get the bug. What i will do though is set it do a full file check before i play

did you find out? using US catacombs client here (played in beta) and get the same problem

That is probably down to the US servers being set up for 1.74(some letter or other). The beard bug happened after I used my existing installation of US Catas to change to work with GOA's servers.

Fresh installation from US Catas CD-ROMs rectified this.

Could probably find out what files are different from a setup with a fresh installation and that of a bugged one by using some sort of CRC file app and find someone to send you whatever files don't match (except for the files which are obviously personal to your pc with regard to chatlogs, toons etc)
