im after some new weights,

dumbells and a barbell.

Was wondering if anyone knows any nice sites to get them from or sets of good quality stuff. Was hoping for no more than £100 for a nice set.

Am also not to sure on the weight i should get to start with.

Ebay is probably your best bet for ex-commercial stuff, assuming you're getting some sort of bench/rack as well - not sure if you'll get it for <£100 though.

Might be worth going into a highstreet store to see their prices as delivery costs for weight sets are high.... as you'd expect

Funny enuff most high street Argos stores have a bunch, either sets or individual bars and wieghts. 'York' brand, dunno if that's any good (if they're cheap, I don't think they weigh any less...).

got a bench from argos for £99 quid i think, came with the shitty concrete weights, would have prefered iron ones, but i guess thats why it was cheap

Just bought a 5 kg dumbell there... Might as well use it when im bored watching stuff on the screen

with such a small weight you could of just put some tins of beans in a carrier bag and worked with it that way
