When and where to meet.

You can meet up with us on Quakenet irc, in the #game.q3a channel, or go here and click 'JOIN CHAT' and select the #game.q3a tab or you can just join the server at 8.30pm.

How to join the server.

While your logged on at Game.net, click here to bring up the server browser. Select GAME.NET - Q3 UrbanTerror CTF1 213.221.174.37:27960 and click 'LAUNCH GAME'.


If your new to online gaming, you can find all you need to get started here.

Files you need.

You should make sure your copy of Quake3 has the latest Point Release (patch).

Urban Terror is a mod for Quake 3, which you will need to download and install.
Beta 2.6
Beta 2.6a

You will need to download Beta 2.6 and install it, then download and install Beta 2.6a.

The servers run a few maps which aren't included with the mod, so you will need to download and install the following map packs.

bw map pack
ctf map pack
ts-tdm map pack
popular map pack

Yah! Urban Terror! I played it for a bit when it first came out and it was great fun. Wont be able to make it every week, but when I can, I'd like to join in!
/me thinks of a convincing reason why "I really must play on Tuesday's!" for my GF

btw, are there any UT specific binds to sort out beforehand? Like wep binds and/or radio comms?

yea

there are a few binds that can be very helpfull.

here is a list of binds, cvars, radio commands, mini map commands and general information about the controls and user interface.
