By safe and controlled you obviously mean only being able to score with the help of bad defending, shit decision and half hearted attempt by the keeper to try and collect the corner cross. Up to that they only seemed capable of scoring at long range.

Sunderland went there to get 1 pt and they were a bit unlucky not to get it. Don't think any of the big 5 clubs are that worried right now. Utd are certainly not the freeflowing scoring machine they were last season. Time will tell. Although, still can't see Tevez and Rooney playing together well.

At least Tevez looked better in the second half. Paul Merson's comments at half time were hilarious, "that's not Tevez, not the player I saw last season. Must be his twin brother!":worthy:
