I think its sweet GOA made an attempt to please the mid players by throwing in an event.
They even took into consideration that the average midgard players arent exactly reknown for their high IQ, so they made it something simple.

We had good fun at Prydwen doing this, but probably mostly due to short notice (news was posted earlier same day as event), there was only three teams of four people.
But was funny anyway, playing hurling is loads of fun.. The pig never wanna go where you want it to go

Already happened once, thought it wasnt an big fuzz on exc not many teams joined up. An afaik the hurling field is perma outside Mularn nowdays so you can play, its actually quite fun altho a tad buggy

At the moment between the lag problems, testing for NF and the myriad of other bits and pieces we haven't had a chance to get events coded. One of the reasons we did the hurling was so we could actually do something that didn't require us to go hip deep into code!

the first time it happened there wasnt much excitement about it, on mid pryd only 2 guilds turned up and made 3 teams, maelstrom got 1st and 2nd place while sons of nidhug got 3rd

was very fun though
