Is anyone else as sick as I am of film websites from the studios? Not only do they take a while to load, but they're un-navigable, full of stupid sounds and music, and bloated with pointless graphics.
The website for Collateral is a case in point. All I wanted to get was some images, and a story outline, and I have to wade through tons of shit just to look at some tiny window on my monitor with blurred text (because obviously, html text isn't funky enough).
Its quite simple. What I want is to open the website, have a menu that says 'story - images - release dates - cast - crew - merchandise'. No stupid flash animations. No crap music. No explosions as I hover over each button. Just give me the fucking information please.
Soon they'll be fucking charging for this shite.
