i may have asked this before but didnt go anywhere so i'l try again..
every now and then after have been browsing the internet for a while, my browser stops responding (not as in locking up) IE it just stops opening the pages with the message at the bottom left "Website found, waiting for reply", tried IE, firefox and opera with no difference.
using Vista SP1 with presumably everything up to date.
i have come to believe that it has something to do with load heavy sites such as WoW homepage, Warhammer homepage and those kind of sites with either alot of flash and/or lots of pictures.
its like theres some kind of memory module not emptying when its full or something. tried clearing everything i can find on my browser(s) like web form info, *.tmp files and stuff and its not helping, and when i do get this problem only a complete PC reboot will fix it. IE just stops responding with "website found, waiting for reply, while Opera.exe and firefox.exe just wont close no matter what i do (well the actual screen frame close when i press the X or choose exit in the dropdown menu), it just stays in the Processes list flashing like mad when i try to close it, either chosing just close or close process tree.
so is there anyone out there having any sort of clue as to what is going on? i never ever had these issues using XP and i havent changed a thing on my PC since i installed Vista.
/edit: but even if i only go to the sites with little or no pictures, sooner or later the same thing happens there to. so its not just a case of "staying away" from them.
