Ok, I'm using IE5.5...
What's the simplest possible way to block a single given domain from being accessed from any one machine? I've searched the options and can't find a way to password-protect the 'restricted sites', and content advisor is useless. Was just wondering if there's a small freeware software package that lets you do it. It's particular domains I need to block, not any site with restricted content.

Any help please?

I'm not with you...

Do you have a domain which you don't want the public to see, only letting authorised people view it?

or

Are you wanting to ensure your copy of IE cannot access certain specified domains?

Hmm... just played about with Content Advisor and it seems ideal for what you want. Add a supervisor password and ensure that un-rated pages are viewable as below.

I managed to successfully ensure that bbc.co.uk is only viewable after entering a password by entering the domain name as never viewable.

Hmm... thanks; it's almost what I was after, but the thing is that no matter what sites you block, the password will always be the same as that of the content advisor, which isn't good when more than one person wants a site passworded.

Hmm... I suspected this might be a problem. Sorry, fella! Failing a Google search I'm all out...
