Web IRC

I tried web irc, but it dosnt seem to connect from school, the port must be blocked, does anyone know of a different way to get on?

A way to bypass the blocked port or something?

Try hosting a web irc client in Altavista Babelfish, translating from Japanese to English or something.

Cause altavista will fetch the page for you and display it in a frame.
Also an easy way to get round a proxy that blocks certain webpages....

I can access the page, just can't connect to the irc server through it
