Weapon skill

I was just wondering how weapon skill affects the opponents defence.

Would someone you had trained weapon skill to 50 be blocked, parried and evaded less than someone who had trained to 30

My understanding is that higher weapon skill will make your opponent block and parry less, but will not affect evade, is this right?

The reason for me asking is I am wondering whether higher weapon skill will help me avoid being dragon fanged as much with my SB

I been told the higher skill you have in weapon the more damage you do,the less chance your enemy parries you and blocks aswell as evades you.May be kind of wrong but only going by what someone told me seems to be true though.

Mattshanes is right. I'm not sure about the evade part but block/parry rates take weapon skill into account.
