Weapon for thanes ?

Im gonna go with:

39 wep
42 shield
48 sc
15 parry z- or whatever is left..

And im wondering wich wep line will give me the best stylez for rvr ? Ive heard axe stylez are very good ?

Any thoughts

wich stylez do you mostly use in rvr ? ruiner -> crumble ?
Ruiner -> Demolish ? Or just Provoce with some conqurer when they run ?

provoke for anything exept when chasing people, in that case use conqurer + sledgehammer(if 44hammer)

ragnarok is far superior any other style in an ordinary weaponline. 50 sword, 42 shield, 39 SC. However for rvr these days and the incoming fix for melee defense in groups you'd be better off rolling a warrior.

in rvr i use Provoke, conquer after slam or running away, and after block, revenge>>thors answer

And I'd prefer hammer, provoke doesn't use much end.

Ive heard axes have far supperior stylez to both hammer and swords...

right now my thane is specced in sword and i usually use assult -> ice storm

Axe aint bad, nice anytimes and good backside style combo AND

if you spec 50 axe you get havoc + follow up, realy uber imo

i suggest you go 50 sword 42 shield 38 sc and 10 parry. (my spec)
why sword.. cause axe 39 style is only for use in front of target and 50 style is a follow up. not to often youre in front of target in RvR. behind is pretty often usable since they try to run away from you.. anyway thats my suggestion.

That sound pretty good but isnt sc a bit low ? i find im nuking alot while rvring so i was going for 48 to get the last dd...

another temp i had in mind was 50 sword 50 sc 25 or so parry

and get myself an augmundir ^^

50 weapon, 42 shield, 39 sc = too low sc, might aswell be warrior
50 weapon, 50 sc, 25 parry= too high sc, slam is a must
so... its either 44 weapon, 42 shield, 46 sc
or 42 weapon, 42 shield, 48 sc.
Hammer is the best weapon imo because provoke and conquer-sledgehammer rocks

I think ill try that 44 42 46 temp and see how it works out well get a free respec in the next pach so if i dont like it i could try something else

Stormcalling 48
Axe 42
Shield 42.

Sometimes i miss some damage, but im sure thats not cuz of my weaponspec

if you're not gonna go 48 Sc then don't bother playing a thane... its what makes us thanes

and Axe > hammer for thanes
