Faith No More are reforming!

Faith No More, Blind Melon and Nirvana form the triad of bands that I never got to see play and really regret. So why am I not giggling insanely with joy?

Tickets are going to sell out SO fast :( I refuse to buy from touts, because I am stubborn and hate what they do and wish I could make them all use toothbrushes made from sandpaper, but I am already worrying about how easy it is going to be to get my hand on a ticket and it's making me sad.

How do you guys go about booking tickets? Do you have a system? And is anyone else as ludicrously excited/pessimistic about this as I am?

I really have no idea Dam, but I'd like to know this too. I missed out on AC/DC tickets this year, they apparently sold out in a matter of minutes.

Some of my mates got seated tickets, I understand that they got about 10 of them to all program the number into their phone and just dial/retry until they got through. Some of them did eventually, but all the standing were sold out and only seated were left.

If they play at the O2 Arena, they often sell tickets early to their customers. Another idea is that a colleague's hubby is in the business and often has tickets to sell on .... find out the tour venues and I can ask :)

I'm with o2 and I've never heard a peep about getting tickets early for anything?

As soon as I can find out the venues I'll let you know. It's just horrible that instead of being excited I'm already thinking "Oh, well there's not a snowball's chance in hell of being able to get a ticket for that then".

Are they just reforming for a tour or actually getting back to gether with the hope of writing new material and touring etc? Hadn't heard about this until now, really suprised tbh considering how many times Patton has mentioned FNM never getting back together.

So far it's just a European tour.

I think Jim Martin and Chuck Mosely should reform an alternative Faith No More and tour as well just for comedy value.

This is the best news ever. However I have already seen Faith No More live, and they were awesome. Still the best gig I've been to in all honesty.

One of the best gigs I went to as well, in must be something like 1991 at the UEA. Best gig for me though? Probably They Might Be Giants at the same venue at a similar time with the fantastic Ordinaires supporting.

Must have been Feb 1990 according to Faith No More - Gig Database - 1990

I was 15 and that was 19 years ago, suddenly I feel old.

Not me, brixton academy site didn't work, and no tickets on ticketmaster. Some kind of cock up?

If the tickets have sold hoepfully they'll do another night!

I may have to swallow my pride/desire to stab touts in the face with a sharpened bowling ball, and buy some tickets elsewhere. I object to it heavily, and it'll give me heart burn and turn my blood to lava, but seeing FNM has been a life long desire :(

Best. Gig. Ever.

I'm deaf, and I smell strange, and I've only just got home, and I'm hungover, and when my friend went to the toilet at Liverpool street on the way home I got hassled by meth heads, and it was all absolutely worth it.

I've noticed, about the original post this, that the best way is to keep taps on when the ticket sale starts, get as many friends as possible, start ringing as soon as it's possible(even before) and chances are(directly proportional to friends ringing) that someone gets through.

Just do it in close proximity so you don't doublebook :D
