Feeling sry for some ppl of Maelstrom who can't take some lost runs like men. Generally speaking it's true for most of peeps out there tbh, when u lose it's always cause of adds, grapple, stun, got a fly in my eye, was afk phone, take it like men! Poor ppl.

Seems a animist can do really well in a GG those bombers nuke for 450 on 26% body resists and stack and all nuke at the same time (Cleric/Healer reaction time to heal = 0 ) Also setting up a mini shroom field to protect Casters/Healers is a really good idea

but in order to use animists you need a good one, else you'll end up with an animist thinking: "Olol, Fins! i afk shroom and get rr10 as fast as lvl50!". Only played with 2 grp ani's (my brother and miss on animist) which both did very well. None picks up animist for PUG rvr tho

oh yeah... and the difference between itnerupt and grapple is that casters can attack from range, melee needa go into close combat to hit a target + they dont have any quickcast any form of CC (which every caster has) to get away from the interupter (in melee cases, grapple) grapple isn't cureable, cannot be broken etc and det. doesn't do anything vs. it.

maelstrom didn't look good in that video but that's normal when group x makes a video and shows fights against enemy y. No gank group video will include fights where they get owned. So I guess maelstrom are generally better than what is shown in those clips.

As for grapple being lame/cheap/whatever: same can be said about FZ (especially the pre-nerf one) on healers, buffshearing on a non-primary healer, mages (BD and WL) having access to banelord, etc etc...

Generally a high RR mid group should not lose against an equal or lower RR alb/hib group...

Edit: Downloading it now... If I see my grp get ganked in 30s flat again, I'll start 'frapsing' myself to show the ones where we win instead... We've had some beautiful 15s kills of opted FGs but they never get shown

a hib grp with hero/warden in it would put out mid/alb melee of the game right? mid usually run with 2 zerks and alb with 2 max i guess? and they'd still have 2 bl's to run around ganking (unless the mid/alb bg'er grapples someone ;<)
