Anyone got an ideas on how much it would cost me to get this? Last thing I really need to do on the account. Well, still need to lvl a buffbot ;p

To go from 600-800 in WC, assuming you make 1 skill point per 5 makes and have no material losses will cost around 8.7p; this is a conservative estimate, I reckon when I was doing oranges to yellow in AC I was skilling at around a point every 2-4 makes so on the basis of a point every 3 makes it would cost around 5.2p

If the aim of this is to have a hingebot then I suggest you go level a tailor instead as it would still be cheaper to level it to 800 and then do metalwork to 800... :m00:

um 8.7plat is way off the mark... shouldn't cost more then 1-3plat for 600-800.

You know LGM is 1000+ skill? 800-1000 will likely cost you another 8-10plat.

My bill went for 17P to reach 1060 in weaponcrafting. Lots of bad luck in that one. If you want an inexpensive LGM go for a tailor or fletcher. :)

sounds to me you was quite lucky, 17plat is not bad at all for 1060 :)

When I started out I was told it would cost max 16P if you were unlucky so I was shocked by my misfortune when I added up the tab. :(

Couple of plat to 800 is my rough guesstimate on WC Easty , i'm going down the tailor route instead as it seems like its gonna be much cheaper to hit 800 and even take it on to LGM status .

Didn't count that with precision, but would wild guess 2.5-3.5 P from 600 to 800....

Think I spent 10-15 plat for 1027 in WC.
    I might have been lucky.
But I made alot of shield because they are so cheap to make.

not sure how much i spent getting my tailor(the cheap one) to 800+ i'd say about 3-4 plat with metalwork and woodwork both at 800+

got wood work up as i had 40+ leps staffs and they only sell for about 4 gold but salvage is a bit more and a lot of the guild give me all the wood gear to salvage also

bad point have 2500+ of ebonwood and 1500+ duskwood in my vault :eek6:

every one is way way way off the mark 600-800 wc FREE

just takes a bit of farming and you can get 600-850 for nothing actualy you earn gold

farm ermerald seals and salvage adamin bars (if mid) then farm saphs and dia seals for ast bars (if mid) a\nd you can go from 600-850 for nothing nada no gold what ever

Get tailoring up to 800, leave metal working until its done, then all you need to do is make low level studded armour, low level weapons and low level tin armour - take each of these up to about level 300 (costs next to nothing) and that should at the same time increase your metalworking up to 800 - that or get to about 600 and start making hinges so you skill up and make money at the same time.
Took my weaponcrafter to 550 and its worked out cheaper to take my tailor from 400-800 than my weaponcrafter to 700 - and i'm doing metalworking to boot and still cheaper.
at a guess (not in game at mo) i think it costs me somewhere in the region of 20g loss to craft weapons at 550 but tailoring gloves at 700+ is only about a 2g loss..the only cheapy bit for weapons is making shields as someone mentioned above - get making them as soon as poss as even with material loss it still works out much cheaper than making yellow con swords etc.

when i started my wcer i had 2p on him i am now at 968 and still have 4.1p left to craft with(ok yea it took me 14 hours frming emerald seals with my sm)
then it took me 12 hours at hulks in df with my zerker and a bb to farm 1090 dia seals (for ast bars)
but total out lay in cash so far has me +2.1p should get me to about 985 ish then i can craft sheilds till 1025( and make gold from 99% and mp) with luck i estermate it is going to cost me cash wise to get lgm about 2p

Have you pushed yourself up in skill you can make all the jewels now? If so how much did it cost to go from 1000 to 11xx be able to make them?
