Watching TOTP today and...

I saw a new band on there that's all hyped up. Hope of the States they were called. And I'm thinking, wow, that lead singer looks like a really haggard version of a guy I used to know... Then I thought, that drummer looks strangely familiar too... Then I thought hey! I know the guitarist as well! Turns out that I used to know them all when I was 16 and they were about 14, and they were in a band called Scarper. We used to hang out and get drunk/smoke in the grounds of the cathedral in Chichester.

Small world really. Haven't spoken to any of them for years. If they get really rich and famous I'll have to try and remember some embarrassing stories...
