What a pile of hollywood genericness... (the usual drama combined with generic music that is supposed to touch peoples emotions when someone is trying to save another one for example)

Comments?

Good action film imo easy way to spend to hours. Transformers was never going to win any oscars for acting but was a good little film with decent eye candy.

Would've been 10+ film without the shaky cam.

When doing 3d, you don't need shaky cam, you can be as "matrix" as you want damnit :(

found it one the better adaptations that has been around for a long time... that said, it isnt a touch on the original cartoon movie. They tried to take some parts that film and translate it across (mainly in the dialogue) but it just didnt work as well as the cartoon :)

I still can't understand why a movie about giant robots fighting needs to have a whiny American teenage boy.

Shia LeBeouf, you can't stop making movies soon enough :(

i quite liked him tbh, liked him in disturbia too ^^

can't really remember much about transformers (watched it last NYE) only that it didn't bore me to tears, which has to be a good thing... oh yeah and that i was expecting a cameo from a go-bot at any time when a vespa transmogrified in to an egg whisk.

Isn't that because the original had a whiny teenage boy?

I didn't like the looks of the transformers at all in this movie :(

VW would not allow them to use the beetle, hence the scene where it owns the old one at the garage.

I loved the movie, but then I went expecting Transformers not the Shawshank redemption.

Just saw the Happening, dam so much reminded me of War of the Worlds with Tom Cruise, but instead of aliens, they had trees..

The Happening is the best comedy movie of 08, Mark Wahlberg should get an Oscar for it - because any guy who can hold a conversation with a plastic plant without asking the director if he's utterly retarded is talented.

Was a pretty awful film. Such a shame because the ad's looked so good!
