Warriors get glowy weapons, mages get glowy staffs... what about bards?! :)

Why cant bards get nice glowy instruments, lets face it we're big targets in rvr anyway so what difference would it make to that.. I'd love to have a nice glowing lute

Sorry to have to be the one to point this out but it's already blatantly obvious your a bard in RvR cos your carrying an instrument and either have funny sparkling feet or full columns of colour moving up and down you.

Oh and your carrying an instrument so... yet it'd really make you a bigger target

Yup the glowing minstrel flute is very unimpressive. Not only does it look crappy, but the glow only appears when you use it and vanishes if you move (much like a caster staff). Not much use given most bards/minstrels move while playing songs.
