warrior respec extra skills thingie

I am currently hammer spec with my warrior. Is there any way i can respec and get the extra skills you would get if you autotrained? And if there is, can i respec back to hammer again and still get the extra skill points?

if u are autotrained and u use a full respec stone, u end up with 12 hammer/sword/axe 1 parry 1 shield 1 throwing, they used to say that WHEN u are on this spec (the 12/12/12/1/1/1) u can get points back by using single re-spec stones, NEVER TRIED MYSELF tho,

personally i don't think u can get em back , simply because if u could, it would be big time imba

let us know if u ever manage to take the autotrained points back tho i am really interested to know

I *think* if the line you are respeccing from is the line you specced in and didnt auto train at all that line will reset to 1 thus speccing them in another line that is auto trained will net you a small gain if the line your specced in is auto trained it will only respec to 12 thus gaining nothing.

there is no such thing as "line u speced in"
warrior autotrains are hammer/sword/axe , all of em, or none

100% sure about it, tested it! (at least that was the case about a year ago)

iirc to get full auto train on a warrior you ned to get to l48 without training any weapons then u have 12 in which ever weap u choose and can stick extra in parry

leveled my warr solo/buffed from lvl 1 oldskool, she now sits with auto trained sword and hammer and not axe which was what she specced in whilst leveling, just a doac anomaly tho i guess.

i have not autotrained yet... my question was that if i havent autotrained and i respec, fx from hammer to sword (which is autotrained cause i didnt spec in it) will i then get the points? will that count as autotrain?

Basically the answer to your question is no, and I guess thats what some ppl have tried to say just very badly worded, was under the impression that you could do this since the line you spec in as you level does not auto train but what actually happens when you respec is that you reset the line you specced in to 12.

fex if you had :

12 sword
12 axe
50 hammer
50 shield
and whatever pary/thrown

and you respecced hammer you would have:
12 sword
12 axe
12 hammer
50 shield
etc

The only way to benefit from extra points is to power level a warrior to 48 not speccing any weapons.
