totally agree with zana. it's a blatant bug, and you're exploiting it. why dodge the issue? grapple isn't a bug, and plus all realms can get it.

oh and dps interrupt is a bug? PLEASE. then shammies instant pb interrupt is a bug. you see, when you talk crap its easy to talk crap back.

As for the every realm being able to do that grapple/effect bug. I`d love to see you do that same thing in an alb group without gimping its offense. Alb groups rarely if ever get the 3 resist buffs from a friar so its gonna be near impossible to recreate the grapple bug ;p

4 base buffs
5 spec buffs
3 cleric resists
1 cleric heal proc
3 friar resists
3 EB+haste+damage shield (DS from charge if you don't like wizards)
1 crack
1 speed
1 bt/pbt
1 mezz-reduction
1 ablative
1 pally chant (end)

= 25 up basically all the time on the whole group (casters also have absorb buff).

Then there's dozens of ToA effects you could use to get the other 2/3 --- on the whole group.

True that it's not quite the 'standard' alb group, but if you don't want the Friar, it's not hard to add more RAs/ToA stuff and at least have some of the group grapple-immune.

Dont use it a singel time in movie, dont need it to win. If i use many shouts for selfdefense it might occur but sorry, i wont decline my shouts just because you cant grapple me then, Go whine on devs.

So you say cause all realms might have a theoretical chance of blatantly abusing a bug that gives you and your group a huge advantage, it is ok to exploit it? Complete bullshit and you know it. Grapple is not a bug, it might be stupid and unbalanced like savagedamage or resistpiercing but it is not a bug and you know that too. Everyone not compeltely stoned realize what is bug abusing and what is not. Act like a man and say that you/your realmmates do abuse it but you don't care since you want to win, instead of coming up with these ridiculous posts that just makes you look like a fool.

This is not personally to Raid but to all who try justify this.

Now lets look on patchnote for 1.68, and I quote, "Grapple now correctly stuns the caster for 12 seconds. This fixes a bug that allowed the caster doing the grappling to continue casting other spells."

So as you see in the current version where the casters duration of the stun is effected by determination grapple is indeed a bug for characters with determination.
For others that do infact get the duration of the stun it can only be seen as an issue since it's chainable with no delay (2sec is notthing).

In other words you can say that your arguement is abit cheap, and even cheaper when people in your own guild/group have been abusing bugs since they started playing and still are (dps debuff/asd etc.).

The effect cap can be seen on as a bug, but it's more like a coding limit.


To argue just for your own benefit isn't actually so great. Yes, mids complain about animists and theurgist, and hibs having it so easy with all their grapplers in one group. But infact, I wouldn't have had it any other way. I actually love these benefits and use the to its full potential when I play these realms. It is unbalanced, but so is the entire game.
When all comes to all we have no influence on how this game is patched.

Just live with it!
