Serious note to people who use windows but not Internet Explorer.

'You do not have to be using Internet Explorer as your Web browser to be affected by this issue.'

That is from Microsoft, Mozilla users aren't safe either :(

Just start using zonealarm professional, worth the money!
It blocks that code with a the right settings...

How-to:
"Privacy" menu, sub menu "Mobile Code"

There just select these two checkboxes:
Block scripts (vbscript) (had it on from before)
Block mime-type intergrated objects.. (this one was required to stop the exploit)

then do the test and look in C: while doing it.. nothing happens :)

Disabling active x components, or put them on prompt mode savs me from getting all kinds of shite from sites :eek:

Yep, it seems to be the only way to stop IE from letting these bastards wreck your system. Microsoft need to fix that bug ridden PoS asap.
