I hereby FORBID other players, particularly those from the Albion and Hibernia realms, to enter the zones known as BG2 and BG3 during Oct. The reason for making these two zones strictly out of bounds is that I will use them as my private solo xp camps over the next few weeks. Any player activities in the aforementioned zones that may disrupt my levelling, whether intentional or not, will be frowned upon and the repercussions will be severe. BG2 and BG3 are the PRIVATE PROPERTY of Bister. Get lost!
Now, don't see this as an infringement on your freedom of movement. As you all know, there is absolutely no reason for anyone but me to go there anyway. To my knowledge there are some subversive elements within our community that will say otherwise, but let me list a few arguments that I'm sure will convince you:
- Some make it a habit to lvl up alts for BG1. Once they cap, the correct decision is to delete the alt and lvl up a new one. In spite of the scientific evidence showing the contrary, it goes MUCH faster to lvl up a new alt all the way to 24, get new equipment and do the necessary quests, than to simply lvl up your BG1 alt 5 more lvls to 29. Think about it, anything could happen during those long and arduous lvls between 24 and 29. Power cuts, earth quakes, you name it. Don't take that chance!
- Whereas BG1 is great fun, BG2 & 3 is not. Nobody ever goes there anyway. No matter what people tell you, they are always empty. Always.
- Even if BG2 & 3 were not empty, RvRing in them would not be fun. This is because of a major game design flaw making RvRing between lvls 25 and 34 unpleasant and unrewarding. Ask Mythic!
- According to some Mythic internal documents that I have acquired, BG2 & 3 were never even intended as RvR zones. A Mythic employee accidentally copy/pasted BG1 twice, thus creating two extra zones. In fact, they may be removed any day without prior notice. You don't want to be in those zones when that happens or your account will be erased!
See? Do yourself a favour. Speak up for your rights! Say NO to BG2 and BG3!
