If you were to spec 38 curse, 40 WC would you get two bolts (one base one spec) and also be able to chamber a further two bolts? So you could in theory fire four ?

Also, can you use range boost on bolts ? And if so, can you use them on bolts you put into chambers?

You can chamber up to 2 bolts with that spec (2 specbolts if you want)
And no, you can't use primers on primary spells, you can either use primer+secondary (uninteruptable + lifedrain for example) or primary+secondary spell (bolt+lifedrain for example)

On that above spec again - could you chamber 2 bolts and then chamber a dd too with range primer? Or can you just not chamber primers what-so-ever?

You cant use primers (range, uninterupt or powerless) if you chamber the spell.

You have to use a primary spell (DD/bolt) and a secondary (if you want).
