Warhammer Online & Vista: Perfect Harmony?

Hi all,

Planning to install Window Vista (faint gasp from crowd) on my main PC tonight and hopefully resubbing back to WHA.

Hows it run with Vista? anyone encountered problems with it? performance wise is it any faster, slower than an XP install?

I only played it on Vista 64, no experience with XP, but I have no problems so far, never experienced any of the CTD people had with the game, and I have a rather stable FPS (except the Reikwald defence on KEP last friday...nightmare, but I blame the game, not my PC). BTW I don't have a monster of a PC, it's Athlon x2 5000+, 4GB ram and a 8600 GeForce 512MB.

remember the Run as Admin trick for Vent if you install vista or no one will hear you when in game.

no problems with vista 64. Not one CTd ever.

i have vista on my main drive and xp pro on a small 40gig drive.
WAR runs much better on xp for me.
i have to run balanced setting on vista but can bang everything on full on xp.
this is probably due to me only having 2gig of ram and xp doesnt eat as much of it as vista does.
