I bet that would get a lot of people playing.
Or would that be too obvious?
i doubt it, as majority of the younger generation wont know who he is, majority of the older generation (25+) will think what the hell is he doing. It's not like using Mr.T.
They dont need a famous name to the advertisement, they just need to have it "sponsoring" a tv show for a while. Like before Star trek, SG, or some other sci-fi/fantasy tv prog. Like you often see COD or various other games done.
and Blizzard would be all over them for copying their advert with Mr T![]()
Depends how they spin it. Fair use covers satireThey probably can't do the whole script in the same theme.
Shame George Peppard ain't still around, could have had him just saying "I love it when a plan comes together." at the end of a keep take![]()
and "Game over man, Game over!" for the losing side![]()
(nerd points given to anyone that remember where that quote is from)![]()

Hardly worthy of nerdpoints to be honest, that's just pop culture that alot of people know about not just nerds.
Like who? European TV is so diverse who would you get to do it?
I liked the LOTRO TV advert more than the WoW ones, but I could imagine a shaven headed Brian Blessed making a good War Priest for the Empire.
Something like Captain Picard (James Stewart) or similar would probably work better.
Sorry but I have to say this but I would pay to see James Stewart play a starship captain.![]()
