THQ's Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War website is now officially opened. The game aims to bring you the world of Warhammer 40,000 consisting of battle hardened Space Marines, green Orks, and the calculating Elder in full blown warfare, with not a paintbrush in sight.

Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a revolutionary science fiction real-time strategy (RTS) game set in the violent, post-apocalyptic universe of the 41st Millennium. Utilizing the exceptional game design skills of Relic Entertainment, Dawn of War provides an immersive entertainment experience of epic proportions. Command hardened troops, deadly vehicles and high tech weaponry with one goal in mind, the complete extermination of the opposition.

The website goes onto explain how this RTS game will be 'different', and if they manage to pull of what they have planned it could be a top title. A trailer will be released in the next few days.

See if you can find the THQ / Relic party video that's floating on the net....
it has real life footage of this game, + STALKER (the chernobyl subtitle thingie)

All I can say is oh my god do I want to play it

There's units being hurled through the air, and when they land, they bounce a bit, throwing up dirt.

When units die, they die with style....

Can't wait :)

From what I can tell, the codes not been finished and the framerate can always be improved with some tweaks. E3 puts pressure on developers to hit the E3 date and show what they have done so far. The game itself is not due out for a while yet so fingers crossed :)

Edit : Ok, more like 24 hours ;) But it's up now and if you haven't seen it. See it!!
